Student and staff mobility

Student and staff travel to partner institutions makes up an integral part of NMH's extensive international activity.

Student mobility

Students attending Bachelor and/or  Masters programs can apply to complete parts of their studies as exchange students at one of NMH's partner institutions abroad. NMH's goal is that at least 50% of their graduate students attain a minimum of one semester's worth of international experience during their studies. NMH currently has approximately 20 outgoing exchange students and 20 visiting exchange students. Together with the around 150 regular international students, the exchange students all contribute to creating an international learning environment.

Staff mobility

One of the ambitions for NMH's Strategy for International Activity is the systematic use of staff mobility to aid the development of institutional collaboration, build competency and to strengthen the international profile of NMH.

Staff mobility means that both specialised, as well as administrative employees, get the opportunity to work and learn at an institution abroad for a selected period of time. Around 30 teachers and a handful of administrative staff from NMH go on such exchanges annually. NMH also welcomes a similar sumber of visiting professionals throughout the year. The majority of these visits are implemented through EU funding for the mobility program  Erasmus+ eller the Nordic Council of Ministers Nordplus-program.
