Funding for student-led projects

Do you have an idea for a project? CEMPE can provide funding.

Do you have an idea for a project? Is there something missing from your studies that could make your education even more relevant? Apply for the elective course "Student-Led Projects" and get funding to carry out your project. Deadline April 17th

We want to support projects that:

  • provide you and your fellow students with skills or experience that you do not currently get through your studies
  • better prepare students for today's and tomorrow's music industry
  • include student collaboration across disciplines and genres

Examples of projects that have previously received support include Barnekonsertserien, Ensemble3030, Bare Spell and the Ungt Forskerforum for Folkemusikk- og Dans (UFFD). You can read more about CEMPE's student-driven projects here.

How does it work?

The elective course "Student-Led Projects" is for those who want to realize their project idea while learning more about project management. You will receive funding to carry out your project, a 15-hour supervisory resource that you can use as you wish whilst following lectures on project planning, finance, leadership and marketing. You can find more information about the course requirements and organization on the NMH website.
