Exploring how an aural training web site can give the students more independence and greater freedom in their work with developing aural skills and aural awareness.

Every music student is unique and has their own way of experiencing and understanding music. As their teachers we help them develop useful tools to deal with various music challenges. In aural training we want to enable the students to use their aural skills in a practical way as musicians – both in practice and performance. To make the aural training more effective, I am exploring how an aural training web site can give the students more independence and greater freedom in their work with developing aural skills and aural awareness, and what type of exercises are most useful in this matter.
