Ellen Ugelvik's fellowship project is based around five new piano concerti that Ugelvik will premiere at national and international venues.

Through the evolution of these performances, Ugelvik will examine the role of the soloist in all the processes of musical creation, from initialization to realization in performance.

Performances

The five works that Ugelvik has performed and studied are as follows:

Dai Fujikura: Diamond Dust (2013)

Magne Hegdal: Konsertstykke i tre deler (2015)

Bente Leiknes Thorsen: At the tips of my fingers on the tip of my tongue (2015)

Therese Birkelund Ulvo: Wowen fingerprints (2016)

Trond Reinholdtsen: Theory of the Subject (2016)
