Omtale

Konferansen arrangeres for å feire CEMPEs fem første år. Samtidig markerer konferansen etableringen og det begynnende arbeidet til AEC og CEMPE-plattformen Learning and Teaching in Music Performance Education (LATIMPE). Studentinvolvering og lærersamarbeid er de utvalgte hovedtemaene for konferansen.

Tema for konferansen

Studentinvolvering har de siste årene vært et sentralt tema i høyere musikkutdanning. Mange argumenterer for at studenten selv bør være den sentrale agenten i sin læringsprosess. Flere mener at lærere og høyere utdanningsinstitusjoner bør arbeide for å myndiggjøre studenter og involvere dem mer aktivt. Student-orientert, student-aktiv eller student-sentrert læring har blitt vanlige begreper.

Samtidig trer lærersamarbeid frem som et viktig tema i høyere musikkutdanning. I mange tilfeller henger lærersamarbeid og studentinvolvering også sammen. Men hva betyr disse begrepene? Hvordan ser en «student-sentrert» praksis ut, og hva samarbeider lærere om? Hvilke fordeler har det å involvere studenter mer aktivt og å øke lærersamarbeid? Hva innebærer studentinvolvering og lærersamarbeid i læringskontekster som spenner fra en-til-en-undervisning til tverrfaglige praksiser eller praksiser på tvers av institusjoner? Dette er noen av spørsmålene konferansen ønsker å belyse.
