Beatrice Juskaite

Singer Beatrice Juskaite plays her exam concert.

Benjamin Rø Haavelsrud

Beatrice Juskaite makes melancholic indie pop with roots in the neo-soul and singer-songwriter tradition. With deep guitar landscapes, warm and close vocals and honest lyrics, she creates a world that feels both naked and embracing. Her songs are marked by a necessity – an expression that not only wants to be heard, but felt.

Thematically, the songs revolve around love, vulnerability, hopelessness, anger and being a sensitive person in an overly busy world. She wants to create a space where the hurt and the unsaid can breathe, and the listener can dream away into their own feelings without shame. Juskaite hopes the music can create a moment that feels like being held – soft, honest, raw and without demands.
