Disputation Rune Rebne

Rune Rebne defends his dissertation, which is titled Det skjulte språket. Om veilederens språkliggjøring av sin estetiske erfaring i den individuelle komposisjonsveiledningen på musikkhøgskolenivå.

The doctoral defence starts at noon in the Auditorium. The trial lecture will be carried out the the same morning at 10:15am.

The trial lecture and the defence will be held in Norwegian/Scandinavian languages.

The Assessment Committee

The Committee comprises the following members:

• Associate Professor Gjertrud Pedersen, the Norwegian Academy of Music (Committee Chair)
• Professor Peter Edwards, Department of Musicology, University of Oslo (1st opponent)
• Professor Karin Johansson, Malmö Academy of Music, Lund University (2nd oppoent)

Streaming

If you are unable to attend the Norwegian Academy of Music in person, you can follow the trial lecture and the public defence via live stream. The stream will not be recorded. The streaming link will be published on the Norwegian site two weeks before the arrangements.

We encourage everyone to attend in person, as in most cases a live stream will not be considered a satisfactory alternative to being present in the Levin Hall. In addition, this is a relatively simple video production, which may result in limitations in terms of sound and image quality.

The dissertation is a monograph. It will be available in Nasjonalt vitenarkiv (nva.sikt.no) two weeks before the public defence. The dissertation language is Norwegian.
