Field of study: Music Education
Trial lecture Rune Rebne
As part of his doctoral examination, Rune Rebne will give a lecture on a topic specified by the assessment committee.
About the trial lecture
The topic for the trial lecture will be announced 19 May 2026.
Streaming
If you are unable to attend the Norwegian Academy of Music in person, you can follow the defence via live stream. The stream will not be recorded. The streaming link will be published on the Norwegian site two weeks before the trial lecture.
We encourage everyone to attend in person, as in most cases a live stream will not be considered a satisfactory alternative to being present in the Levin Hall. In addition, this is a relatively simple video production, which may result in limitations in terms of sound and image quality.
The Assessment Committe
The committee comprises the following members:
- Associate Professor Gjertrud Pedersen, the Norwegian Academy of Music
- Professor Peter Edwards, Department of Musicology, University of Oslo
- Professor Karin Johansson, Malmö Academy of Music, Lund University
The doctoral defence takes place in the auditorium the same day at 12 noon. See separate event.
