Arnold Schönberg's (1874–1951) iconic melodrama is one of the most important and groundbreaking works of the beginning 20th century. This setting of 21 selected poems from Albert Giraud's cycle of the same name brings us on a journey through the inner world of Pierrot, the comic servant of the French Commedia Dell'Arte, whose world of thought and creative impulse are symbolized by the moon. Come and enjoy the atonal magic with us! Victoria Oftestad in the role of Pierrot, production and violin by Saimi Kortelainen, Nina Haug on the piano, Urban Megušar on the cello, Tessa Kokkonen on the clarinet and a flautist who is yet to be announced.
