The core of the project is Prokofiev's Violin Sonata No. 1, a work marked by its intense contrasts, emotional depth, and evocative atmosphere.
For this concert, Kaya collaborates with Norwegian photographer Steffen Hansen, who creates visual responses inspired by her interpretation of the sonata. A selection of his photographs will be subtly integrated into the performance - enhancing the emotional landscape of the music without overshadowing it.
This concert invites the audience to experience Prokofiev’s work through a refined blend of sound, light, and image, offering a fresh and personal perspective on a monumental piece of the violin repertoire.
