The singers will perform arias and lieder live, together with their own pianists. The performers are located all around the world, spread across six time zones.
Initially, the semi-final was supposed to be held in the Lindeman Hall in Oslo. Since this is impossible due to the pandemic, we will instead invite audiences to the Lindeman Hall, live streaming the semi-final on a big screen. During the breaks and after the performances, industry representatives will participate in panel discussions.
We welcome you to follow the live stream of the performances and panel discussions, either from the Lindeman Hall or broadcast on the competition’s YouTube channel, from wherever you are located. The performances are scheduled between 3 pm and 8 pm CET.
An international jury will choose six participants to proceed to the final concert in Bergen on 20 November.
The results of the semi-final will be announced at approximately 21.00.
