RÅ! is a student led concert series at NMH. This year, Alessia Dania Ardelean and Elias Wallumrød Orning run the show. Here you can find the participants for the April concert.

Michał Chekus

The band's idea is to use samples, sounds, and grooves that would give the impression of delicate LoFi music and heavy-sounding progressive rock, an exploration of what lies in between, and different approaches to mixing such distant genres.

Mthembu-Salter Powell

The Mthembu-Salter Powell project, co-led by Khaya Mthembu-Salter and Adam Powell, was born from a shared passion for the music of artists like Wayne Shorter and John Coltrane. We draw inspiration from modern jazz while also feeling a profound connection to South African composers like Bheki Mseleku, Kyle Shepard and Bokani Dyer and a wide variety of other artists such as Fela Kuti and Lionel Loueke. We do this in the spirit of embracing traditional and modern innovations.
