Once, learning was understood as the shaping and cultivation of the mind, not as the acquisition of impersonal skills. With this as a starting point, Olaf Andreas Strand has, in his master’s project, examined music from especially the 14th and 15th centuries with a critical eye, in order to create his own musical language. With the expression of the soul put to the test, this concert consists of pure solo piano improvisation, where neither obstacles nor aids are allowed to influence the beauty being sought.
