The Sea in the Forest

Welcome to this collaborative concert between the Academy and The Embassy of Lithuania in Norway.

On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of Lithuanian composer and visual artist Mikalojus Konstantinas Čiurlionis, students, teachers and guests will present a special concert featuring works by Čiurlionis and other composers. The event will also include a polystylistic performance titled "The Sea in the Forest", based on improvisations around Čiurlionis’s piano works, performed by renowned Lithuanian pianist Prof. Petras Geniušas and acclaimed saxophonist Liudas Mockūnas.
