Ludwig van Beethoven (1770–1827)
- Sonata No. 28 in A Major (1816)
- Sonata No. 10 in G Major (1799)
- Sonata No. 32 in C minor (1822)
Fund-raising for victims of flooding in Valencia.
At this concert, we take you on a journey in Beethoven's footsteps, contrasting two of his last sonatas with an older one. They illustrate different facets of Beethoven's life. On one hand, the first sonata reveals his joking nature and constant desire to deceive the audience, creating spaces for surprise and contrast. On the other hand, the last sonatas allow us to immerse ourselves in a more abstract, contemplative language.
We also invite you to reflect with us on the tragic flooding of Valencia about two weeks ago. As artists, we want to contribute in any way possible. Therefore, we invite you to stay after the concert and join us for drinks and food. All donations gathered from this event will be directed to the Red Cross Spain to help victims re-establish normality as soon as possible.
The concert is supported by The Spanish Embassy of Oslo.
