Inhabiting the Space Between Worlds

Featuring soul vocalists and strings with full band, this masters concert presents music composed/arranged by Trina Coleman during her masters studies including excerpts from her Weary Blues: Poems of the Harlem Renaissance concert series, Songwriter with Strings concerts, and songs from her upcoming album entitled "Elbow." Inhabiting the space between musical worlds, Trina's original lyrics and selected poems are used to explore the friction-filled identity of one who finds themselves suspended in between.
