At this concert, the chamber choir will perform Norwegian music. The choir consists of students studying singing and conducting at the Academy, so here you will find some of the country's finest young voices.
Marit Tøndel Bodsberg is the conductor for the project, which presents choir and ensemble music ranging from Kjerulf, Backer-Grøndahl, and Grieg, through Nystedt and Nordheim, to some of today's brilliant younger composers: Marianne Reidarsdatter Eriksen, Eva Holm Foosnæs, and Tone Åse. The choir will not only perform as a mixed choir, but we will also have men's ensemble and women's ensemble performances, with some of our singers as soloists. Welcome to the concert!
