Svibelfabuleringer

Singer Jakob Nordli plays his exam concert, Svibelfabuleringer.

Sigrid Erdal

Svibelfabuleringer (hyacinthical fabulations) is a concert that circles around questions about the regenerative potential of music as well as questioning the actual possibilities of such a practice in a capitalist society. Inspired by some of the stories and transformations in Ovid's Metamorphoses Nordli aspires to draw lines between music and regeneration, when the narrator is involuntarily transformed into both an unfit soldier as well as a purple Hyacinth flower.
