About the trial lecture
The topic for the trial lecture will be published on the 28th September 2026.
The lecture will be held in Norwegian.

If you are unable to attend the Norwegian Academy of Music in person, you can follow the defence via live stream. The stream will not be recorded.We encourage everyone to attend in person, as in most cases a live stream will not be considered a satisfactory alternative to being present in the Levin Hall. In addition, this is a relatively simple video production, which may result in limitations in terms of sound and image quality.
The doctoral defence takes place in the auditorium the same day at 1 pm. See separate event.
