Church Musician II

At the Academy, you can be educated as a cantor, even if the organ is your secondary instrument.

Church musicians and cantors lead choirs, play the organ, work with children, and sing. The church musician is one of the most versatile individuals in the church and has the primary responsibility for the musical life of the congregation.

Church Musician II is open to anyone with a bachelor's degree in performing music. Are you already employed in the church but lack cantor qualifications?

KA (Employer's Organization for Ecclesiastical Activities) offers scholarships through the subunit Training and Development (OU) (ouinfo.no) to employed church musicians who lack cantor qualifications.

The teaching language is Norwegian. Therefore, select "NO" at the top of the page to view all information about the study.
