Each position is a three-year, full-time appointment beginning 1 September 2025. Candidates who are offered a position could apply for a 75 % position, i.e. a four-year project period with a 75% salary.
The PhD programme in Music Research at the Norwegian Academy of Music covers the following three areas:
- Music Education/Educational research in music
- Music Therapy/Music and Health
- Practice-oriented Musicology
The programme leads to the degree of PhD.
The positions will be affiliated with the Academy’s Research Centres. It is also possible to propose other topics of research relevant to the Academy’s core enterprise.
