Drawing from his background in Western classical music, and the Peruvian Q'ero tradition of energy medicine, Björn approaches music as a form of healing. The Q'ero tradition of energy medicine originates from the high Andes of Peru, where ancient Inca practices of healing and harmony with nature have been preserved for centuries. It emphasizes balance, reciprocity, and the flow of energy between human beings and nature. Björn has studied this tradition extensively in Peru and brings these insights into his own artistic creations.
Bjørn emphasizes the importance of cultivating a neutral awareness as a performer, ensuring that unprocessed wounds or personal agendas do not unconsciously influence the music or audience. Instead, he allows the flow of energy—from both the audience and the universe—to guide the music. Each concert becomes a unique expression of presence, intended to reach into the subconscious and enable inner transformation.
