Laris D'hose

Double and electric bassist Laris D'hose presents a solo concert of his original compositions. A Belgian musician currently on exchange at the NMH folk department, Laris draws inspiration from Norwegian traditional music, blending it with a jazz-based improvisational style.

Gregory Kharaneka (saxophone) and Tord Hagbarth Bremnes (electronics) create a living sonic environment within the realm of experimental improvised music, where human and technology merge, contrast, and complement one another. Every sound from the saxophone is immediately processed electronically, returned in a transformed state, and pushes the improvisation in a new direction. This is not a duet in the usual sense but a system that listens to itself, responds, and reshapes itself in real time.
