Ingibjörg about the concert: – My masters project has been to look at the connection between the trumpet and the human voice to develop as a trumpet player and as a musician. The purpose was also to expand the trumpet repertoire. In what ways is singing beneficial for trumpet playing, and how can we use it to enrich our music making? For the last two years I have been taking inspiration from singers, using singing in the practice room and taking singing lessons, and the result of this will be my masters exam concert.
