Graduate Programmes Master of Music Performance
The Master of Music Performance is a two-year programme of music study that will help you to shape your own artistic profile and to choose areas to examine in more depth.

If you are interested in conducting professional ensembles in Norway or abroad, this is a programme for you. Focus is placed on your individual musical development, and the Academy offers a solid and versatile academic environment where you can pursue your studies as a conductor.

Do you want to understand music more deeply and build research-based, practical skills? This master’s programme offers close faculty mentorship and hands-on analysis you can apply to performance, teaching, and creative work across styles.

Graduate Programmes Master of Music in Church Music – Experience Based
The Master's programme in church music is a three-year, experience-based course of study that carries 90 ECTS credits.

Graduate Programmes Master of Music in Composition
The Master in Composition takes place in the rich musical environment of Oslo. All our learning activities are centred on developing the student’s own compositional voice, and building skills needed to take part in an international musical discourse. We offer four areas of focus: Acoustic composition, interdisciplinary composition, creative music technology and jazz composition.
