The Norwegian Academy of Music advertised up to four fellowship positions linked to the PhD programme in Artistic Research.
The application deadline was 15 January 2026, 15:00 for the general call and 1 February 2026, 15:00 for the position linked to MishMash. The project period is due to start on 1 September 2026.
Most applicants to the PhD Programme in Artistic Research also applied for a fellowship position at the Norwegian Academy of Music. Appointment to fellowship positions and admission to the programme were handled in the same process. It was possible to apply for admission to the programme without applying for a fellowship, provided other funding could be documented, e.g. from another institution.
