Tuition fee

Tuition fees will be charged to international students with citizenship from outside the EU/EEA or Switzerland.

The tuition fee for one academic year at NMH is 380 000 Norwegian kroner (NOK).

The tuition fee must be paid in full by June 1st before the start of the following academic year. It is not possible to pay the tuition fee in instalments. Students who have not paid the tuition fee by the deadline will automatically lose their study rights at NMH.

Unfortunately, NMH does not offer any scholarships to cover tuition fees.

If you belong to one of the groups below, you can apply for an exemption from the tuition fee. It is important that you read below carefully before applying.

How to apply for exemption?

Students belonging to one of these categories are exempted from the requirement to pay tuition fees: 

• Citizens of an EU/EEA country or Switzerland. 
• Exchange students from NMH’s partner universities. 
• Students starting their studies before the autumn of 2023.
