This pilot project investigates how to develop a technological platform for playing music that can be used by people with cognitive impairment and dementia, and by health professionals. We will look at whether the different elements of the overall system can be made sufficiently user-friendly. The methodology for data collection are used in previous research projects.
Healthcare providers must easily be able to play music that users like. The individual's favourite music is put together in a playlist that applies to him or her.
The project is receiving funding from the Research Council of Norway.
