Children’s Choir Con­duct­ing

The NMH is the only institute in Norway that offers a specialisation in children’s choir conducting. You and your choir are welcome to join us on the journey!

Please note! There will be no admission for Children's Choir Conducting I in 2024. Admission to Children's Choir Conducting I will be open for new applicants for the academic year of 2025-2026.

Children’s Choir Conducting is a programme for you to raise your children’s choir to a new level. We help you reflect on planning and implementation and give you feedback on the job you are doing with the choir you conduct.

The programme is pedagogical and addresses teaching methodology. It is based on your development work with your choir. You receive training in teaching and different approaches through the use of video recordings and video conversations.
