Ram Reuven er førsteamanuensis i musikkteori og studieleder for det masterprogrammet i musikkteori. Hans forskningsinteresser inkluderer analyse av vestlig tonal musikk, schenkeriansk teori og analyse, historisk kontrapunktpedagogikk, integrering av kognitiv vitenskap i musikkteori, relasjoner mellom musikkteori og musikkutøving, og musikkteoretisk utdanning.
Han har en ph.d. i musikkvitenskap fra det hebraiske universitetet i Jerusalem. Blant verkene hans er 2021-artikkelen Undersurface Sequences i Music Theory Spectrum og 2013-læreboken Tzlilogia: A Complete Guide to the Elementary Theory of Western Music, som er en mye brukt lærebok blant musikkstudenter i Israel.
