CEMPE was the Norwegian Academy of Music's Centre for Excellence in the period 2014-2023.
CEMPE's vision was to strengthen higher music education through student involvement, collaboration, diversity and curious exploration.
The centre worked to be a catalyst for knowledge development about teaching and learning in higher music education. Through projects, networks and innovative experiments, the centre explored teaching methods, working methods and educational content for students who will face the music world of the future.
